Best for: A low-cost backup heater
The Aikoper rounds out the list as a compact ceramic unit with a thermostat and oscillation at a low price. It is the most basic pick here, and it behaves like it.
The thermostat works, the oscillation helps, and the safety cutoffs are present. But the shell warms more than we like, the noise floor is higher than the DREO units, and the build feels light in the hand.
It makes sense as a spare — a guest room used twice a year, or a garage bench. For a room you occupy every evening, the picks above are worth the extra.
